Mrs. Claus's PERFECT Cinnamon Scones

Bake time: 20 min Preheat: 350


  • 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour

  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar

  • 2 1/4 TSP of baking powder

  • 1/2 TSP sea salt

  • 4 TBSP of cold unsalted butter

  • 3/4 cup of cinnamon chips

  • 1 cup of cold heavy whipping cream

  • 1 TSP of vanilla extract


  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cutting in butter until crumbly. Blend in cinnamon chips

  • Combine cream and vanilla

  • Add mixtures together until evenly moist. If dry, add more cream a TBSP at a time until moist.

  • Work with hands until dough forms, then turn onto floured surface, kneading gently 4-5 times.

  • Roll to 1" thickness, using a 2" cutter to slice 10 scones. Place 2" apart on parchment paper-covered baking sheet.

  • Bake until golden brown, approximately 20 minutes. Test with toothpick.
